Mechanical Sales Engineer

Role Overview: 


We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Sales Engineer to lead product identification and manage the sales process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical sales, strong market understanding, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Exceptional communication skills in English and a proven track record in sales are essential.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Identification: Understand client needs to identify and recommend suitable products and solutions in line with project specifications.

  • Sales Management: Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation and client engagement to closing deals and post-sale support.

  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture client relationships to understand project needs and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

  • Market Research: Stay updated with the latest market trends, new product developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate sales contracts and terms to achieve favorable outcomes for both the company and the client.

  • Vendor and Supplier Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain the best product pricing, availability, and technical details.

  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives, contributing to the company’s growth and revenue generation.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement and project management teams to align on product sourcing and client delivery.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical sales, product identification, and client management.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in sales and CRM software; in-depth knowledge of mechanical products and market trends.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
