Process Engineer (Chemical/Mechanical)
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team for an exciting project involving the installation of an onsite hydrogen production unit. As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing the chemical and mechanical processes essential to hydrogen production. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Evaluate, analyze, and optimize the hydrogen production processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Design and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical and Piping Engineers, to ensure seamless integration of process equipment into the overall project design.
Chemical Process Management: Oversee chemical reactions, handling of feedstock, and the overall process flow, ensuring adherence to safety standards and production targets.
Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control protocols to maintain the integrity and quality of hydrogen production processes.
Troubleshooting: Provide expertise in diagnosing and addressing process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices, identifying and mitigating potential hazards in the production process.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to process performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in chemical or industrial settings.
Familiarity with chemical reactions, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
Proficiency in process simulation software and engineering analysis tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Considerations:
Knowledge of hydrogen production methods and technologies is a plus.
Experience with process safety management (PSM) and hazard analysis.
Understanding of environmental regulations related to chemical processes
