Role Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering to manage our procurement processes effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tender participation, bidding, sourcing, and vendor management, coupled with excellent communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Participation and Bidding: Lead and manage the preparation and submission of tenders and bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards.

• Product and Service Sourcing: Identify and source products, materials, and services that meet client specifications and project needs.

• Supplier and Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers; manage vendor registrations across various portals.

• Client Management: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the procurement process.

• Market Analysis: Stay informed about current market trends and developments to make informed procurement decisions.

• Logistics Coordination: Arrange and oversee the delivery of products and materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics solutions.

• Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on tender participation, bidding, and vendor management.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and procurement software; well-versed in current market affairs.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
